Runtech joined forces with Tata Steel and Veolia on the £30 million rebuild of the Queen Anne blast furnace on the Scunthorpe Tata Steel works. It is the biggest single investment in the town since the Indian owners bought the site in 2007 as part of a 6.4 billion deal.

Runtech provided two engineers and four operators to the multi million pound deal to "take out" the inside of the furnace.

The engineers, drivers and the robotic machine were lowered into the furnace by cranes and harnesses to tackle the project.
